DMCA & Copyright Policy

How rights holders can submit a notice of claimed infringement, and how LEMO TV responds. Last updated August 22, 2026.

Our position

LEMO TV respects the rights of copyright owners and expects the same of everyone who uses the service. We respond to properly submitted notices of claimed infringement in line with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512, and we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

Where to send a notice

Send notices of claimed infringement to support@lemotvs.net, marking the subject line "DMCA Notice" so it is routed and actioned promptly. Please include every item listed in the next section — notices missing them may be delayed while we ask for the detail.

What a valid notice must include

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), a notice must contain all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or someone authorised to act for them.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it — typically the exact channel name, stream identifier or URL.
  4. Your contact information, including address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages, including costs and legal fees, under § 512(f).

What happens next

  • We acknowledge receipt of a complete notice.
  • We remove or disable access to the identified material expeditiously.
  • We notify the affected account holder and pass on your notice.
  • We record the notice against that account for the purposes of the repeat-infringer policy below.

Counter-notification

If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice under § 512(g)(3). It must contain your physical or electronic signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, your name, address and telephone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate US federal district court.

Send counter-notices to the same address as notices. We forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant, who then has the statutory window to seek a court order before access may be restored.

Repeat infringers

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances and without refund, the accounts of subscribers and account holders who are repeat infringers. This policy is applied consistently and without exception.

Trademark and impersonation

Complaints about misuse of the LEMO TV name or brand — including domains impersonating us — should go to the same address. The domains we actually operate are listed on our official domains page.
